Bengaluru, Feb 12: The state high court on Monday February 11, refused to grant bail to Praveen Khandya from Chikkamagaluru. Khandya, a leader of Hindu outfits, has been named as main accused in the abduction of Tejas Gowda and resultant suicide by the then deputy superintendent of police (DySP) of Chikkamagaluru, Kallappa Handibag.
Praveen Khandya had applied for bail for the second time in succession. A single judge bench of the high court presided over by Justice B A Patil refused to grant him bail. His previous application also had been rejected by the high court.
