Mumbai, Feb 12: Chief Editor of Sakal Marathi daily newspaper Mumbai edition, Rahul Gadpale and Bhavani Foundation founder president Daddangadi Chelladka K D Shetty inaugurated Bhavani Bhavan auditorium constructed by Bhavani Foundation Navi Mumbai for the benefit of people from three villages in Pirkatwadi, near Panvel, Raighad district.
Advocate Moidin said that villagers living here are without basic needs. “Our national leaders and local elected representatives should come here and be ashamed. The matter should reach not only to state Mantralaya but the union government at the centre. It is a misfortune of the country that there are Adivasi villages such as this and people living in acute poverty even after seventy years of independence. It appears that God has arrived through the service of Bhavani Foundation. May the villages be models at least after this,” he said.
