Bengaluru, Feb 11: Minister for Food and Civil Supplies Zameer Ahmed Khan took a dig at BJP, for threatening to release old videos of CM Kumaraswamy. “Were they paralyzed from 2014 to 2018?” he questioned.
Yeddyurappa has admitted that it was his voice in the audio CD, Khan told media. “He had earlier said that he will resign from the post of MLA if it is his voice. But he is not keeping up to his promise. He has accused speaker now. We know about the speaker,” he said.
“The video that the BJP threatened to release is old and is of the year 2014. What were the BJP people doing till now? There were four years in between. Were they paralyzed? Yeddyurappa has two tongues. Kumaraswamy had demanded Rs two crore only for fun. I was in JD(S) party then. When Viju Gowda had asked Kumaraswamy to make him the MLA, Kumaraswamy had said that he will, if he pays Rs two crores. BJP has accused speaker now. If he is at fault, would he have asked for inquiry? The government should conduct investigations. SIT has been asked to submit report after investigations within next fifteen days. There is no meaning in the talk of BJP,” said Khan.
