Bengaluru, Feb 11: M B Maramkal, media adviser of state BJP president B S Yeddyurappa, has filed a complaint with the Vidhana Soudha police against the chief minister of the state H D Kumaraswamy in connection with the release of a morphed audio of clip of the former chief minister.
Meanwhile, Ashik Gowda, member of youth Congress committee has filed a complaint against B S Yeddyurappa accusing him of destabilizing the coalition government by enticing the Congress MLAs with hefty amount of money to join BJP.
After H D Kumaraswamy released an audio tape in which Yeddyurappa allegedly offered bribe to lure a JD(S) MLA into BJP through his son, Yeddyurappa has admitted that he indeed met the son of the MLA.
Speaking to reporters in Hubballi on Sunday, Yeddyurappa said, "It is true that I spoke to Gurumathakal JD(S) MLA Naganagowda's son Sharanagowda. But he was sent by Kumaraswamy to meet me. It was a pre-planned move by the CM behind the audio clip. Kumaraswamy has edited the audio and is trying to blackmail me. The other half of the audio will be made public at the parliament on Monday.”
