Bengaluru, Feb 10: Three youths were arrested by Bengaluru police for cheating women by promising jobs in the city.
Dinesh from Shravanabelagola, Prajwal from KR Pete and Kiran are the arrested. The police have rescued three women who were confined at a hotel room in Nelamangala.
According to police, the accused used to trap youngsters looking for jobs. They had opened an online website and asked job aspirants to fill online application named Locanto. Later, the accused forced them to indulge in flesh trade.
Three women, who refused to indulge in prostitution, were confined to a room in Nelamangala hotel. Based on credible information, Nelamangala town PSI Manjunath led team raided the hotel and rescued the women.
Further investigation is underway.
