Kasargod, Feb 9: The body of a daily wage worker was found in the forest in Adoor police station limits on late Thursday, February 7.
The deceased is identified as M K Chidananda(36) from Adoor Kanikaje Mavinadi.
Police have arrested Ganapa Naik(35) and two others in this connection.
The family members of Chidananda had gone looking for him as he did not return even after night. Meanwhile his dead body was found in the distant forest subsequently.

It appeared that Chidananda was killed by hitting on his face and head with stones. Two stones and chappals with stains of blood were found near the body.
Adoor station police who came to the spot after getting information, conducted investigations and arrested Ganapa and two other suspects.
Chidananda used to go to work via Ganapa’s farm. Ganapa had alleged that Chidananda has stolen betel nuts and drank liquor in the farm.
Ganapa who was waiting for Chidananda when he was returning from work asked questions to him which led to physical fights between them. Chidananda fell to the ground. Ganapa had hit him on his face and head and killed him before throwing his body in the forest and fleeing, it is gathered.
The dead body was taken to Pariyaram medical college hospital for postmortem and handed over to his relatives.
