Mysuru, Feb 4: Former chief minister Siddaramaiah has confirmed the saying of minister Sa Ra Mahesh that BJP has approached some MLAs of Congress and JD (S).
Siddaramaiah, who spoke to the scribes in the city, said,"BJP is filled with greed of power. They are offering Rs 50 crores for each MLA. From where do they get this much amount of money? In addition, BJP kept all their MLAs in a star resort in Haryana for a period of one week. From where they get funds for all this? They have made an offer of Rs 20 crore each to 50 MLAs. BJP has looted public money. Now they want the power to loot some more money."
Earlier, speaking to the press, minister Sa Ra Mahesh said, "BJP is trying to prevent certain MLAs from attending the assembly session. In addition, they have offered money and minister position to some JD (S) and Congress MLAs. We do not know how BJP is going to make the MLAs as miniters. We have brought 'Operation Kamala' to the notice of CM Kumaraswamy. Our MLAs themselves have told us about BJP contacting them. BJP is trying to project that the coalition government is not stable by comeing up with new lies everyday."
"Central leaders have to make the state BJP leaders understand. From the day we have assumed power, BJP is troubling us due to their hunger for power. Now it is making a last ditch attempt. The people of the state are watching all the deeds of BJP. They should not resort to such dirty politics. As I said earlier, some MLAs of BJP are in touch with me. All the things have reached a climax. Wait and see," added Sa Ra Mahesh.
