Mumbai: Shani Mahatma Seva Samiti Khar celebrates 52nd anniversary

Mumbai, Feb 4: Shani Mahatma Seva Samiti situated at Jawaharlal Pahelwan chawl, Khar east celebrated 52nd anniversary at Billavara Bhavan auditorium, Santacruz east on Sunday afternoon February 3.

In the programme chaired by Seva Samiti president Shanker K Suvarna, Bharath Bank director Premanath P Kotian and social worker Varija S Karkera were present as guests of honor. Seva Samiti honorary president Sridhar J Poojary, vice president Devendra V Bangera, executive president R D Kotian, joint secretaries Janardhan N Salian, Harish Kotian Kaup, honorary chief treasurer Nagesh G Suvarna, ladies wing heads Kesari B Ameen, Shobha V Kotian, Leelavathi Y Hejmady, Sharada S Poojary, youth wing executive president Vijay N Salian, member trustees and office bearers were present on the dais.



Committee members and children presented cultural programme, short play and Brahmari Yakshagana Kalanilaya Khar artistes performed Yakshagana play ‘Bhasmasura Mohini’.

Harischandra Shetty and Sachin Poojary presented a cultural programme. Deepa Salian sang a prayer song. Seva Samiti honorary chief secretary Yogesh Hejmady welcomed the gathering, delivered an introductory address and compered the programme. Committee honorary treasurer, priest Nagesh G Suvarna introduced the guests. Joint secretary Ramesh N Poojary proposed the vote of thanks.
