Mangaluru, Feb 3: “We are confident that coalition government in Karnataka will complete five year term and none of the party legislators will quit the party,” said Congress general secretary K C Venugopal.
Addressing media here on Sunday, February 3, K C Venugopal said," There has been some misunderstanding among the leaders which will be sorted out. Comments passed by a few Congress leaders have led to misunderstandings and we have conducted a meeting with regard to the same and asked them not to deliver such statements.”
He also said, "BJP is striving hard to destabilize government by luring some MLAs, but our MLAs have refused their demands. None of the MLAs are not ready to join BJP and am confident that Congress-JD(S) coalition government will complete its five year tenure.”
District-in-charge minister U T Khader, MLC Ivan D'souza, former minister B Ramanath Rai, mayor Bhaskar Moily and others were present.
