Udupi, Feb 3: An undertrail committed suicide at Udupi sub-jail here on Sunday, February 3.

Amarnath (32) from Kidiyur is the deceased.

He was facing a rape case and a complaint was registered at Udupi women's police station.

He committed suicide by hanging himself at the conference hall of the jail. He breathed his last while being shifted to the district hospital by the officials.

A case in this regard has been registered at Hiriyadka police station.

    first of all how is it possible in jail. from where did he get the source to do such a crime. there is something confusing.. Police women in anger must had happened something and then drama ended with suicide.

    WOMAN HAS AN ATROCITY INSTRUMENT TO TEACH THE MEN.THAT IS WHY MANY MEN SUFFERS IN JAIL.MY OPINION IS NOT IN EVERY CASES.WHEN COMPLAINTS CAME TO THE POLICE STATION,THEY SHOULD INVESTIGATE WELL BEFORE ARREST OR TAKING ACTION. BECAUSE RAPE CASE IS TOO INSULTING THE MAN.
