Mangaluru, Feb 2: “Winning candidates to get preference this time,” said former chief minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday, February 2.

He was speaking at Mangaluru International Airport on Saturday February 2 on his way to Manjanady for a programme.

Asked about pressure on giving ticket to Sumalatha Ambareesh in Mandya, Siddaramaiah said, “The discussions about Lok Sabha tickets are yet to be done. Congress and JDS leaders will jointly hold the meetings. Representatives in every area will ask for tickets. We have not yet decided on giving tickets. Once the discussions are held, we can give more details on the tickets,”

When he was asked about ED raid at D K Shivakumar’s residence in Delhi, Siddaramaiah said, "I am unaware about the ED raid. What I know is D K Shivakumar will fight legally in this matter,”

On BJP's criticism about coalition government having two chief ministers, Siddaramaiah said, "BJP did not even complete its term of five years. There were three chief ministers during that time. 8 leaders went to jail. Criminal cases were registered against several leaders. What are they speaking about?”

    There no winning andidates. People should win the candidate. Choose some one whose has really done someting to the society. Dont think of people who have no contact with society only oney IN SUCH SUCH Cses ask money dont give waitage. Ask workers of arty ad decise. This is for all the parties and this is democracy.
    There are are papwer weight leaders no contact wth people but money. Dont trust them but use their money.

    The worst CM Karnataka ever had, who brought Congress down from 128 seats to 80, lost his own seat in Chamudeshwari by over 40,000 + votes and just won in Badami by just 1000 votes, but still best CM for some crazy people. Can't digest the truth.

    Vajapaye was not PM or CM during that election. More over he did not contested from 2 places.
    From 2 seats in 1984 BJP went on to win 280 seats in 2014 in just 30 year
