Mumbai, Jan 23: Om Shakthi Ladies Association recently held Rangoli competitions, Yakshagana training and Haladi Kumkuma programme at Hotel Sagar International terrace garden here.

Well known Yakshagana trainer Guru Sadananda Kateel was honored. Namratha Kaushik, Yashoda S Shetty and Uma Naik won first, second and third prizes in Rangoli competitions.

Supritha M Bhandary and Jayashree S Shetty Padedare were presented consolation prizes. Rangolis by Suchita Varma, Asha Naik, Shashwathi Shetty and Nandita Kaushik were also commended by the judges.

Shashi P Shetty, Asha V Shetty and Harshita S Shetty cooperated as judges. Vice president Jyothi S Shetty, treasurer Suresha H Shetty and joint treasurer Kushala G Shetty were on the dais.

Secretary Roopa Y Shety and cultural committee convener Rohini D Shetty compered the programme. Asha Naik and Uma Naik sang a prayer song. Joint secretary Greeshma P Shetty proposed the vote of thanks.

A Haladi Kumkuma programme was held in the end.
