Beltangady: Scooty rider dies after unknown vehicle hits him

Beltangady, Jan 22: Sesappa Shetty (59), resident of Muddige in Hatyadka village, who was travelling in a scooty, suffered grievous injuries after an unidentified vehicle hit him. He passed away when being shifted to the hospital.

The scooty was moving towards Dharmasthala and the accident happened on Monday January 21 near Parpikallu.

Sesappa had suffered deep injuries to his head in the accident. He was moving towards Dharmasthala when a vehicle which approached his two-wheeler from the opposite direction hit him and went ahead without stopping.
