Mangaluru, Jan 17: The installation ceremony of the new office bearers for the year 2019 of JCI Suratkal was held on January 9 at the Bunt's Association in Suratkal.

Speaking on the occasion, chief guest, JFP Ashok Chuntar, zonal president of JCI 15, said, "JCI is an organization, the lifeline of which is training. It gives training in administration, business knowledge and personality development and thereby inspires the individuals to be successful business persons and involve in social work." He congratulated the office bearers of the last year and offered his best wishes for the new team.

The function was presided over by Praveen Shetty who welcomed the guests. Newly elected president Lokesh Rai took over the reigns and continued with the function.

Chandrashekhar Nanil, awardee of Dakshina Kannada district Rajyotsava 2018 and Praveen Shetty couple, outgoing president were felicitated on the occasion. Jayesh Govind ushered the guests to the dais. Srishay Shetty, secretary rendered the vote of thanks. Bindya Shetty and Charvi gave a dance performance on the occasion.
