Kundapur: 49th anniversary of Vidyaranga Mitra mandali held

Kundapur, Jan 5: Vidyaranga Mitra Mandali held their 49th anniversary and 40th year’s scholarship distribution programme at Vidyaranga auditorium here. Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara education society vice president D Surendra Kumar chaired the programme.

Entrepreneur G Dattananda Gangolli who inaugurated the programme said that there is no donation above education as it is possible to reach high grade in society through it.



Karnataka Rajyotsava awardee D Surendra Kumar and Ananda C Kunder were felicitated.

Rs 2.23 lacs were distributed among 165 students as scholarships. Vidyaranaga Mitra Mandali president Dinaker Patel chaired the scholarship programme.

Chandrashekar Kharvi read the report. Vidyanidhi project president Ravi T Naik, Mumbai gave an introductory address. Jayananda Kharvi welcomed. Malini Sathish compered the programme. A cultural programme was held.
