Mangaluru: Man operating Matka business arrested

Mangaluru, Jan 3: City police, on a tip off, arrested a man on Wednesday, January 2, who was doing illegal Matka business in the vicinity of Yash Raj bar, Falnir, under Mangaluru north police station limits.

Prashanth (28) resident of Siddakatte, Bantwal, is the arrested. Police confiscated Rs 15,000 cash used by him for Matka, slips with Matka numbers on them and mobile phone from him. The accused and goods confiscated from him were handed over to Mangaluru north police station for further action.

CCB unit inspector Shantaram, PSI Sham Sunder, Kabbal Raj and staff took part in the operation.
