Bengaluru: City-based 'HappyEMI' start up gets world recognition

Bengaluru, Dec 26: In the Global K50 conference that was held recently at the One World Trade Centre at New York City, a list of the 50 top startups of the world is released. In this list the city-based 'HappyEMI' start up has secured 30th spot in the finance section.

Suhas Gopinath, a resident of the city is the founder of this company. Anand Sankeshwar, managing director of VRL group of companies and a young entrepreneur, who always leads by new experiments of new technology, is the co-founder of HappyEMI.

Providing loans easily at low interest rates was the motto of Kairos international conference of this year. HappyEMI start up is working with the same motto and it will help in getting loan within one minute. So HappyEMI was selected as one among the top 50 start ups of the world and was honoured through a cheque of USD 50,000.



Start ups which create a unique impression in the fields of finance, education, health and modern technology are selected for the list of top 50 world start ups. To consider for participation in this competition, the start ups have to give a presentation about the motto of the company in the presence of 150 influential CEOs, industrial chiefs, media and vice-presidents of the world. The information about the steps taken by the organization to resolve the issues when the customer buys a product or service of the company needs to be provided to the huge panel. Only if the information given is satisfactory, the organization will be selected as one of the top 50 start ups of the world. So far this recognition has helped the start ups to accumulate a capital of one billion dollars.

"It is a proud achievement that HappyEMI has got 30th position in the K50 list of Kairos society. We feel that we have got good encouragement in our vision of providing loans easily to everyone," said, Anand Sankeshwar, managing director of VRL media and co-founder of HappyEMI.

Suhas Gopinath, founder of HappyEMI said, "HappyEMI is going to give a new face to the concept of credit card. By providing loans at zero interest rates, it will help the youth to buy the things that they want."
