Bangaluru, Dec 22: MLA Soumya Reddy has expressed her displeasure on twitter as her father, former minister Ramalinga Reddy was not inducted in the cabinet.
“Congress party has given me ticket from Jayanagar Vidhan Sabha constituency and voters there have blessed me. The constituency should be developed as a model constituency. Besides that I do not want positions of parliament secretary and such other positions. It is natural for those who worked sincerely for the party to feel deprived. It is a part of politics. I have to work for the people in the constituency and repay their debt. My father has worked sincerely for Congress party and
served twice as DCC president and MLA seven times. I desire to see him as the minister. It is necessary to work in all the 28 constituencies for the success of Congress MLAs,” she wrote and tagged the letter to Karnataka Congress.
“Ramalinga Reddy has worked for four decades for the party. Congress has meted injustice to senior congress leader Shamanooru Shivashankarappa also. It will definitely reflect on Lok Sabha elections,” tweeted INC Jagalur Assembly.
Hafeez, another person has tweeted, “democracy is not the property of your family. Democracy should be left to those who do good work. All the people should be treated as equal when you have power.”
