Dubai, Dec 19: “It is not possible to forget the contribution of UAE which wipes away the tears of many families and brightens their lives. UAE is a generous country which invites everybody across the seas ignoring differences of religion and skin colour and paves the way for livelihood,” said Ustad Alvaikutty Hudavi. He addressed the national day programme held by KIC, UAE and Karnataka Cultural Centre in the city.
Sayyad Shuhaib Tanjal led the prayers. KIC grand meet committee president Ashraf Shah Mantur welcomed the gathering, recalled the generous attitude of UAE toward non resident Indians and wished that UAE may continue with excellent rule in the future also.
Special invitee Bharath construction’s Mustafa S M said that UAE is an example that nothing is impossible in the world. “We should commend the mind of the leaders who develop friendly relations with other countries, extending a helping hand to them during difficulties.” International Dukati bike race champion Nasir Sayyed was felicitated.
KIC academy president K P Ahmed Haji Akarshan who chaired the programme said that due to help from NRIs several educational institutes and religious institutes are progressing in our home country.
