Udupi, Dec 7: “Byndoor railway station will be upgraded with more facilities,” said MP B Y Raghavendra. Speaking in people coordination meeting after inaugurating MP’s office in Byndoor, he said that basic facilities in the railway station will be strengthened and more facilities will be provided to railway passengers.
“I have already discussed with highway authority officials regarding problems found on national highways in Byndoor limits. Bahugrama drinking water plan will be implemented to solve drinking water problems. Maravanthe break water works will be hastened,” he said.
“Patients should be provided treatment under Ayushman Bharath insurance scheme in emergency situations without asking any details. There should be no delay,” he said asking district health officer to take suitable action in this connection.
“A proposal to the state government is already submitted for Byndoor taluk hospital. A dialysis machine will be provided in the hospital. Land should be approved immediately for petitions received requesting land for crematorium. Land should also be provided for housing projects”, he said.
“Public petitions will be received without interruptions in the MP’s office opened in Byndoor,” he added.
Vidhan Sabha opposition party leader Kota Srinivas Poojary, Byndoor MLA Sukumar Shetty, MLA Rudregowda, district panchayat chief executive Sindhu B Poopesh and Kundapur assistant commissioner Bhoobalan were present.
