Sullia, Dec 6: Four persons died on the spot and nine others were injured after an Innova car hit a Maruti Omni car from behind on the night of Tuesday December 4. The accident happened at Kannamangalapalya Gate.
The Omni was moving towards Devanahalli from the city when an Innova car rammed into it from behind. In this accident, Vikas (26) from here, his friend, Vekatesh (27) from Devanahalli, Sundar (24) and Ashrit (25) from R T Nagar Bengaluru, who were inside the Omni, died.
Hemanth, Ajit, Ravi, Avinash and Bharat from R T Nagar Bengaluru who were in the Omni, and Manoj, Indudhar and Madhu from Rajarajeshwarinagar here who were the occupants of Inova car susfained serious injuries. All of them were admitted into hospital.
A case about the accident was registered in Devanahalli traffic police station.
