Satish Jarkholi’s statement on Cong MLA's inclination to BJP true: Kota Srinivas Poojary

Belagavi, Dec 5: MLA Satish Jarkholi’s statement that around 8 Congress MLAs are inclined towards BJP is true, confirmed leader of Opposition in Legislative Council Kota Srinivas Poojary.

Speaking to reporters in Belagavi on Thursday, Poojary said Municipal Administration Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi seems mentally distant from the coalition government and even though he cannot predict if the minister may join BJP, he expects that he may quit Congress.

“It is difficult to evaluate the performance of the coalition government, as the government has still not taken off. Ministers are not pro-active and some district-in-charge ministers are only confined towards their constituencies,” blamed Poojary.

“Ministers in the coalition are disturbed. They are not doing their duties properly. If they support BJP, we could form a government. We need to see on what basis the coalition will survive after the winter session,” he said and added that on farmers’ issues, the BJP will tackle the opposition inside as well as outside the legislature.
