Puttur: Wife of policeman from traffic station commits suicide

Puttur, Dec 5: Chandravathi (38), wife of Shivaprasad, hanged herself on Tuesday, December 4. Shivaprasad happens to be a police personnel attached to the traffic police station in the city.

Chandravathi, who was staying at her home in Shantiyadka in Nekkilady village committed suicide after sending both her children to school. There was no one around when she took this extreme step.

Shivaprasad, who was on night duty, reached home after work at around 11 am and found that his wife was no more.

On the basis of complaint about the incident given by Chandravathi's elder brother, a case stands filed in Uppinangady police station.

    Feel very sad for the children. When there are small children parents should not commit suicide. Suicide does not solve the problems where as it only complicates the situation forever. People should discuss their problems.
