New Delhi, Dec 4 (IANS): China-based handset maker Realme's recently-launched U1 is set to go on sale on e-commerce platform Amazon India and Realme.com on Wednesday, the company has said.
This is the first-ever smartphone to be powered by the MediaTeK Helio P70 processor.
Prospective buyers would get benefits worth Rs 5,750 and up to 4.2TB of Jio 4G data which is applicable to the Rs 198 and Rs 299 prepaid plans for Jio users.
"We are extremely delighted to announce that Realme has extended its fan-following to three million. Furthermore, as per the recent report by CMR, Realme has become the No. 1 emerging smartphone brand in India," Madhav Sheth, Chief Executive Officer, Realme India, said in a statement.
The device runs ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo OS and sports a 6.3-inch full-HD+ display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio.
The smartphone comes with a dual rear camera setup with 13MP + 2MP sensors.
