Mangaluru: Environment protection campaign at Paldane church, saplings planted

Mangaluru, Nov 26: Saplings of teak wood were planted at St Theresa church premises, Paldane near Kulshekar as part of ‘protection of environment is my responsibility’ campaign taken up by the diocese.

Members of the congregation after Sunday morning mass on November 25 under the leadership of parish priest Fr Vincent Victor Menezes planted the saplings after signing the statement that protection of environment is my responsibility. Fr Menezes called on all the 380 families in the parish to join hands in the campaign of planting the samplings.



Parish pastoral council vice president Roshan Lasrado, secretary Veena Lobo and Fr Paul Crasta were present.
