Karwar: Car and lorry collide head on, woman dies on the spot

Karwar, Nov 22: A woman lost her life in a tragic collision between a lorry and a car at Aratibail, Yellapur district on November 22.

The car was on its way from Yellapur to Ankola. Bengaluru resident Kavya Purushotham (28) died in the accident. Purushotham (33), Shanker, Balakrishna and Hemalatha sustained injuries. They have been admitted to Taluk hospital. Police visited the spot and collected details.

A case has been registered at Yellapur police station.
