Udupi, Nov 21: “The chief minister is showing his true colour and is unable to produce no dues certificate to farmers against their loans. He called the farmers who campaigned for support price for sugarcane and their dues from sugar factories as robbers and criminals. He asked a woman farmer where she was sleeping for the last four years. As he has insulted women in the state, he has no moral right to continue in his position,” said Udupi district BJP president Mattar Rathnaker Hegde. He was speaking in the news conference in BJP office, Kadiyali on Tuesday, November 20.
“CM had said that he won because of Congress activists. He is following anti people policies. Therefore, district BJP will hold protests in front of district administration office on November 23 condemning his anti-farmer talk and lapses in panchayat raj system,” he said.
Prime minister’s programme
“Prime Minister Modi who has provided cooking gas to houses under Ujwal project will bring about revolutionary changes and supply cooking gas through pipes. The inauguration of the project will be held in the presence of senior leaders,” he said.
