Allahabad, Nov 15 (IANS): A direct flight between Allahabad and Bengaluru began on Thursday.
Uttar Pradesh Civil Aviation Minister Nand Gopal 'Nandi' flagged off the service between the two cities. The flight would be operated by private budget air carrier IndiGo.
Nandi announced that before the Kumbh 2019, Allahabad would be linked to 13 destinations to facilitate pilgrims to come for the mega religious congregation beginning on January 14.
The non-stop flight between Allahabad and Bengaluru is priced at an all-inclusive Rs 2,500, the airline said.
