Vijayapura: Ram Mandir should be constructed at any cost: C M Ibrahim

Daijiworld Media Network – Vijayapura (EP)

Vijayapura, Nov 14: “Ram Mandir in Ayodhya should be constructed. We are prepared to get bricks and provide 'kar seva' (voluntary service) for the purpose,” said Congress leader CM Ibrahim.

Speaking to news reporters here, he called on all to sort out their differences relating to the construction through discussions. “We are prepared to adhere to Supreme Court’s verdict,” he said.

“Tipu Jayanti celebrations this time were disappointing. Clicking photographs and taking out processions is not our tradition. We have decided to celebrate it in different manner next time. We will be holding a meeting of Sadhus, saints including Sringeri shree and Suttur shree across party lines in this connection. We will decide in the meeting on how to celebrate Tipu Jayanti and under whose leadership.”

“We will celebrate Shivaji Jayanti this time together with Muslims. Shivaji was a famous king of India. Similarly, Maratas should celebrate Tipu Jayanti. We will be writing to all Anjuman committees about Shivaji Jayanti celebrations. The way how the celebrations should be held will be decided in the meeting,” he added.
