Mumbai, Nov 14: A meeting to condole the death of Billava community leader, hotelier and former executive president of Bharath Bank, Sooru C Karkera was held at Radhabhai T Bhandary auditorium, Kurla east on Tuesday, November 13.

Billavara Association Mumbai president Chandrashekar S Poojary, P V Bhasker, Leeladhar Shetty, Sadashiva A Karkera, grandchildren of the deceased Rinav M Kerkera and Riddhi Karkera paid tributes to the deceased. Nithyananda D Kotian explained the way Sooru C Karkera came up and conducted the meeting. Ganesh Ermal group performed bhajans.

Wife of deceased, Bharath Bank director Sharada S Karkera, sons Manesh S Karkera, Chandrashekar S Karkera, daughter Swapna S Karkera, Rashmi M Karkera, Vikky Ahuja, sister Kalyani Poojary, Krishnappa Karkera, Umesh Karkera, Billava Chamber of Commerce and Industry executive president N T Poojary, Devendra V Bangera Khar, family members, Bharath Bank directors, senior officials and leaders of local groups took part and prayed for Sooru C Karkera's heavenly abode.
