Mumbai, Nov 5: Ganiga Samaja here held day long annual sports tournaments at Holy Family High School grounds on Sunday morning November 4.
Former Ranji cricket player, fitness trainer Divey Rana inaugurated the tournaments. He imparted valuable information on sports and wished that young talents from Ganiga Samaja shine in national and international levels in future.
Vice president Bhasker M Ganiga, honorary chief secretary Chandrashekar R Ganiga, joint secretary Jagadish Ganiga, honorary treasurer Jayanth P Ganiga, Vidyodaya samithi secretary Vijayendra Ganiga, veterans Devendra Rao, Rathnaker A Shetty, Kalinga Rao, Sadananda Kalyanpur, Ramesh Ganiga Kadivli, committee's Rajesh Kutpadi, Asha Harish Thonse, Arathi Sathish Ganiga, Shubha Ganesh Kutpadi, Veena Dinesh Ganiga, Poornima Kalyanpur, Raghu Ganiga, Veena Rao, Nithish B Rao, Jayanth Ganiga and others were present.
Entertainment and games for children, drawing, running race, lemon and spoon, musical chair, volleyball for men and women, football, throwball, cricket, shotput, long jump, pulling the rope, carom and other competitions were held.
Youth wing executive president Ganesh R Kutpadi welcomed everyone. Vice president B V Rao sang a prayer song and compered the programme. Chandrashekar Ganiga proposed the vote of thanks.
