Dubai, Nov 4: The White Doves Concert staged at the Sheikh Rashid Auditorium Dubai on November 2 was a huge hit. It left the audience spellbound with the breath taking performances by artistes .With an audience of around to 900, it created an indelible mark with the soulful music whilst the band put up an impeccable gig, showcasing renowned talents and artistes from the music industry.
The show commenced with the grand musical opening. Then the opening ceremony followed with the introduction by emcees Adith and Caroline. The chief guest of the show was B M Ashraf, a business tycoon and owner of Mohiudeen Wood Works LLC (MWW). Corrine Rasquinha, founder and president of White Doves welcomed B M Ashraf along with his wife Tanya with a bouquet.
It was a beautiful sight to witness the crowd exuberantly waiting for the rocking concert. What started in the early 90s as a small group, now has a plethora of high class musicians and singers. The band performed so amazingly that the crowd danced and waved their hands to the foot tapping music.
The unique blend of music with inspiration conveying the message of peace, love and humanity are the speciality of this event. The most interesting part of the concert was that the audience were glued to their seats till the end of the show and enjoyed every bit of it and flashed their phone torch lights, high in the air swinging it beautifully to the tune of the music. It was a sight to behold to look at the thrill of the concert. Lot of people were touched by Corrine’s testimony and by the end of the concert, people left revived and refreshed.
Organizing committee, well wishers and sponsors were thanked by the organisers. Sound was provided by Broadway and Daijiworld was the media partner.
"The concert touched my heart and conveyed a message that made me realize that nothing is impossible to God, if only we believe in him. There is hope and light at the end of the tunnel. Thank you White Doves for giving us an evening of two hours that enlightened our lives for a lifetime,” said Olivia who attended the event.
“The concert was mind-blowing and waiting for the next one soon,” said Sharon among the audience.
“Great show guys, a concert with a purpose of bringing out the best in a person and making people feel loved and important,” opined Sumitha.
