Bengaluru: CCB cracks drugs cartel - arrests three including techie from Mangaluru

Bengaluru, Nov 3: The personnel of the central crime branch (CCB) here have succeeded in busting a drugs cartel that reportedly was supplying cocaine and other drugs to prestigious pubs and parties in the state capital.

They have arrested three persons in this connection, and one among them happens to be a techie from Mangaluru.

Pratheek Shetty (29), a software engineer from Mangaluru, Faith Chuk (32) and Kante Henry (24) from South Africa, were arrested.

The police recovered from their possession cocaine worth Rs 1.3 crore, ecstasy tablets besides a car and a motor bike.

Investigation is currently on.

    Hello all, I know this guy for more than a decade, he was all into illegal activities since very long time. He is from a very reputed and financially sound family though.
    Unlikey as mentioned in the news he is engineering 2year drop out, don't know what other scams he did to potray himself as a techie.

    It's not just about money , I think he was running behind psuedo fame, girls and party lifestyle.

    If PM gave all the citizens the promised Rs.15 lakhs and jobs the Shetty boy would not have been selling drugs or pakoda's. Our PM made all false promises before the 2014 election's and will continue with all the false promises in 2019, guys beware.
