Hubballi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will go to jail over Rafale deal - Siddaramaiah

Hubballi, Nov 2: Hitting out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, former chief minister Siddaramaiah said that Modi will find himself behind bars over the Rafale deal.

Siddaramaiah was addressing a public rally in Jamkhandi on Thursday, November 1 for Saturday’s by-election there.

He recalled that state BJP president B S Yeddyurappa had gone to jail for his alleged corrupt deals and contended that Modi will also meet a similar fate soon.

Siddaramaiah also lashed at the Union government for raising only communal issues such as Ram temple and Hindutva. He challenged the BJP to seek votes on the basis of the development work carried out by the Modi government instead.

He charged that saffron party always believed in communal politics and dividing the nation by raising religiously sensitive issues. “Such parties should be kept out of power,” he said.

    Mr. CM, how many Indian politicians have been jailed since 1947. All cases reach a climax, and then as an anti climax, they are acquitted for want of proof. That is how our politicians have reduced justice to. Then on what basis you are saying that Modi will go to jail? Stop talking rubbish and find ways to consolidate the position of Congress in the state.

    Image and Yeddyurappa? A very hilarious comment by one of the readers here. I have more respect for a scavenger than the likes of Yeddyurappa. The former earns his bread by the sweat of his brow and the latter enjoys life by robbing and looting in the name of serving the people. Not just Yeddyrappa. So many politicians both from the BJP as well as the Congress.

    The Gujju-bhai wanted all of India to see the Gujju-land Development model.

    The Gujju-land Development model - now clear to many - has two parts.

    The first part is borrow tens of thousands of crores from the nationalised (taxpayer) money - and escape abroad. Some of these escapees have retained the children of Central ministers as lawyers. Clever Gujjus.

    The second part of this model is, the Gujju-bhai builds mega-projects in Gujju-land (7,250 crore statue, 150,000 crore bullet train, etc etc), using all India taxpayers' money.

    The beneficiaries of these mega-projects are Gujjus only. But the people who will pay for these projects are ALL Indian taxpayers!

    Clever Gujju-bhai. Many in south India have lost their komana for the Gujju-land Development model, but still support the Gujju-bhai.

    Didn't BSY spend 23 days in Parappana Agrahara? And Siddu being a qualified lawyer, has chosen his words carefully: 'alleged corrupt deals'. The same goes for Shashi That or and Divya Spandana.

    Tharoor just echoed what an RSS Pracharak had said earlier about ' Scorpion on Shivling' and Divya Spandana never mentioned anyone's name, she's infact circled something on the picture in question that does look like bird dropping.

    There's nothing the victims of this rather black humor can do apart from pull their hair out! Wiser thing would be just to laugh it off anytime!
