Mumbai: Tulu drama competitions by Billavara Association conclude

Mumbai, Oct 29: The three day long tulu drama competitions held by Billavara Association cultural sub committees for local committees in Billava Bhavan, Santacruz east concluded on Sunday October 28. Global Bunts Federation president Aikala Harish Shetty, special guest gave away prizes to the winners.

‘Eedi’ drama whose story was written by Sameer Penkar and dialogues by Lathesh M Poojary and performed by Goregaon local committee bagged first prize. ‘Naga Sampige’ drama whose story was written by Dr Chandrashekar Kambara and dialogues by Narayan Shetty Nandalike was awarded second prize. ‘Yan Yer’ whose story and dialogues were written by Sunil Shetty, directed by Sumith Anchan and performed by Nalasofara local committee won third prize.



The president felicitated competition judges Mahim Ramesh, Jagan Pawar Bekal, Santhosh Nayak Patla, organizers Dr Bharath Kumar Polipu, Mohan Marnad, Omdas Kannangar, Sunder Kotian, Harish Hejmady, film actor Baddooru Mohammed, Thonse Vijayakumar Shetty and Viddu Uchil Mangaluru.

Cultural committee president Dayanand R Poojary welcomed everyone. Dramatist Dr Bharathkumar Polipu announced the list of winners. Akshay monthly magazine editor Harish Hejmady compered the programme. Cultural committee honorary secretary Ashok Sasihitlu proposed the vote of thanks.
