Panaji: Five years after being arrested for accepting bribe, PSI dismissed from service

Panaji, Oct 25: Goa Police dismissed police sub inspector Rahul Dhamaskar from the service, more than five years after he was caught accepting bribe by Anti-Corruption Branch.

Dhamaskar was today dismissed from services after departmental inquiry established his guilt of accepting a bribe, way back in August 2013.

ACB had caught Dhamaskar accepting bribe of Rs 10,000 to settle the assault case.

As per the complainant, he had demanded total Rs 35,000, of which Rs 20,000 was already paid.
