Mumbai, Oct 9: BSKB Association based in Sion Gokula which has the history of 93 years, celebrated senior citizen's day at Fine arts Shivaswamy auditorium, together with Cini seniors and Mradghand Orchestra on Sunday October 7.
Information technology president Anand Pejavar who was present as chief guest lit the lamp and inaugurated the programme. SBI Insurance Corporate Commercial and Logistics, Raymond Limited president S L Pokrana, assistant executive of Inglobe Expert's Ruchita Shetty were present as guests of honour.
Twenty senior citizens between the ages of 65 and 94 sang songs in costumes of Hindi film heroes and heroines. Kanchan Chavan and IMPA cooperated with the costumes. Kotak Mahindra Bank presented prizes and expressed their appreciation.
BSKBA president Dr Suresh S Rao Kateel, vice president Vaman Holla, Shailini Rao, secretary A P K Pothi, treasurer Haridas Bhat, joint secretary and programme organizer Chitra Melmane were present on the dais.
Suchitra Rao sang a prayer song. Chitra Melmane, Laxmish Acharya, Kusum Dayasagar and Anand Pejavar compered the programme. A P K Pothi proposed the vote of thanks.
