Puttur: Beltangady MLA was trained by Ballari mining barons - Ramanath Rai

Puttur, Oct 7: Former minister, B Ramanath /rai, said that Beltangady MLA, Harish Poonja, was in close contact with the mining barons of Ballari and that he was trained there.

He made this mention during the meeting of party workers held at the office of the block Congress here on Saturday October 6.

"When BJP was ruling the state, illegal mining was proliferating in Ballari. Harish Poonja then had close contact with the mining lords of that region," he added.

District Congress president, Harish Kumar, former MLA, Shakuntala Shetty, and others were present.
