Mangaluru, Sep 9: Private buses in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi will remain off roads on Monday, September 10 as a mark of protests.

Canara Nus Owners’ Association president Rajavarma Ballal, vice president Sadananda Chatra, Dakshina Kannada Bus Owners’ Association president Dilraj Alva, secretary Prakash Shekha and Udupi District Bus Owners’ association president Suresh Nayak in a joint news release have stated that day-long protests will be held condemning increase in diesel prices to exorbitant levels and failure to revise private bus fares.
