Mumbai, Aug 20: Kannada Welfare Society Ghatkopar in a programme held at Babas Mahesh Shetty auditorium, Ghatkopar Pant Nagar on August 18, Alvas college Moodbidri professor Dr Yogish Kairodi gave a lecture on influence on Tulu culture by Guru Narayana.

In a programme chaired by welfare society president Navin Shetty Innabalike, Mangaluru university research centers organizer and vice chancellor Prabhaker Neerumarga, well known scholar and researcher Babu Shiva Poojary, Kannada welfare secretary Sudhaker Ellooru and treasurer Harish M Shetty were on the dais.

Kannada welfare's vice president Jayaraj Jain, treasurer Harish M Shetty, joint secretary Ramananda Shetty, joint treasurer Peter Rodrigues, women's wing president Shanta N Shetty and other office bearers honored the guests. Secretary Sudhaker Ellooru welcomed. Veena M Shetty sang a prayer. 'Bantaravani' editor Ashok Pakkala introduced the guests, compered the programme and thanked.
