Mangaluru: Rotaract Club installed at Besant Women’s College

Mangaluru, Aug 18: The Installation of Rotaract Club at Besant Women’s College, department of PG studies in Commerce was recently held in the MCom seminar Hall.

After the invocation, principal of BWC, Dr Satish Kumar Shetty welcomed the gathering. Faculty in charge Anupa Baliga read out the Rotaract Club report for the acedamic year 2017-2018.

Outgoing president of Rotaract Club Rtr Akshatha inducted the president Rtr Shashwatha into office by collaring and handing over gavel.



President of Rotary Club of Mangaluru, Rtn Dr Vasanth Pai inducted the other office bearers.

New Rotaract president delivered her acceptance speech.

Chief guest Rtn Dr Narendra Kamath delivered an inspiring speech. Rotary president, Rtn Dr Vasanth Pai gave his presedential address.

Rotarct chairman, Rtn Vinod D’Souza delivered a brief message.

Club secretary Rtn R K Bhat and college correspomdent Devanand Pai were also present.

Formal vote of thanks was followed by the exchange of fruit bearing saplings as part of the green initiative of the club and college. The programme came to an end with the singing of the National Anthem.
