Bengaluru: Residents experience tremors in some areas

Bengaluru, Aug 17: Citizens of the metro got concerned as they experienced the shaking of the earth at some places in the city on the afternoon of Thursday August 16.

At around 2.30 pm on Thursday, some areas of the city experienced a vibrant shaking of the earth with a huge sound. In many houses, the utensils and things fell from cupboards and window panes made a noise. Residents ran out of their houses due to anxiety and fear created by the vibration.

Responding to the reports of the tremors in some parts of the city, the officials of Natual Disaster Management Centre said that no such signs were shown on their system and there was no record on the Richter scale.
