Hassan: Husband escapes with child, leaving behind sick wife

Hassan, Aug 14: In an inhuman act a man has left his wife, who is suffering from kidney related ailment and has taken their one-year-old son along with him and has gone missing since three months.

The 25-year-old lady who is undergoing dialysis for her kidney in a private hospital here is longing to see her son and husband, but the husband is elusive and not coming to the hospital to meet her.

Bhuvanesh alias Mahesh, a resident of Rajanahalli in Aloor taluk had married Roopashree (24), daughter of Ganganna, a resident of Koralli village near here, two years ago. Bhuvanesh used to work in a liquor shop and the family resided in Dasara Koppa on the outskirts of the city. Roopashree's health deteriorated after she got pregnant for the second time. She underwent surgery in the government hospital of Hassan. Doctors at Hassan advised Roopashree to go to Bengaluru for further treatment. However, Roopashree did not go to Bengaluru because of financial constraints and is being treated in a private hospital in Hassan. Both her kidneys have failed.

According to the mother of Roopashree, the whereabouts of Bhuvanesh is not known and his mobile is in switched off mode. A case is registered against Bhuvanesh who has escaped with his son leaving his sick wife to deal with her sickness.

Roopashree who is on dialysis since two weeks wants to see her son before breathing her last.
