Koppal, Aug 9: A computer education teacher who was accused of showing porn films to the inmates of the Morarji Desai residential school at Nidashesi village, Kushagi taluk in the district, stands suspended. Allegedly, he also used to touch the body parts of the hostel inmates inappropriately.

The suspended teacher has been identified as Suresh Salagundi. One of the girl students who suffered at his hands, had called a people's representative to narrate her woes. He in turn brought this to the notice of office bearers of Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions Society. The officials visited the school, collected information from the students, and suspended Suresh as well two others who supported his activities.

It is said that computer education teacher used to exhibit blue films to the girl students at the computer laboratory of the school. One of the group 'D' employees of the school, Giriyappa, used to visit the girls hostel at night, record the scenes of the girls changing their clothes on video and hand the video to the teacher concerned.

It also has transpired that a lady teacher too supported Suresh in his activities. It is said that she used to send girl students one by one to the room of the computer education teacher. This information was provided by the girl students themselves during questioning.

The executive director of the said society said that the computer education teacher, a lady teacher and 'D' grade employee have been suspended on the basis of the report submitted by the officials.
