Bantwal: Person on way to home after discharge, gets admitted to hospital again!

Bantwal, Aug 9: In an unfortunate accident that occurred at Ganeshnagar near Neralakatte on Mani - Mysuru highway a person who was going home after getting discharged, had to be admitted again to the hospital as the Alto car in which he was travelling hit a bus from behind.

Chandrahas, a resident of Panja in the taluk is the person who had to be taken to the hospital again. His son Ajit, who was driving the car also got injured in the mishap.

Chandrahas, who was being treated in a hospital in Mangaluru had got discharged on Wednesday, August 8 and was returning to his home at Panja in the car that was driven by his son Ajit. The said bus had stopped in Ganeshnagar in order to allow the passengers to alight. The Alto car that came from behind hit the stationary bus. Chandrahas received severe injuries in the accident and is admitted to a hospital in Puttur with the help of locals. It is learnt that his son Ajit also is injured.

The front portion of the car is badly damaged. Vittal police have visited the spot and registered a case.
