Kaup municipal council member Imran, accomplices charged of threatening PSI

Kaup, Aug 7: Member of Kaup municipal council Imran and about 50 of his accomplices allegedly gathered illegally to create uproar, barged into the cabin of police sub inspector Nithyananda Gowda and threatened him.

The accused and his accomplices forcibly entered into the police station illegally on August 5, waylaid and pushed on duty station guard Chandrashekar. Imran then allegedly proceeded to the cabin of police sub inspector Nithyananda Gowda P D who was on duty scrutinizing police complaint, threatened and hurled expletives at the police officer and his parents, obstructing him from discharging his duties.

A complaint under section 151/201 is registered against the accused in Kaup police station.
