Kasargod: 13-year-old killed by madrasa classmate over a trivial issue

Kasargod, Aug 6: In a tragic incident that took place on the morning of Sunday, August 5, at Bandyodu Muttam near Uppala a student of Madrasa center was killed by his classmate.

Mohammed Milaj (13), son of Yousuf, a resident of Addakote road, Mangalpady is the unfortunate victim who lost his life when his classmate, a minor boy, stabbed his chest with scissors. It is learnt from the preliminary investigation that the argument that ensued between two gangs during the course of a game is the reason for this act by the minor boy.

Kumbla police, under the leadership of circle inspector Premsadan, have taken the accused boy into custody. The dead body of the deceased is taken to Mangalpady government hospital initially from there it was shifted to Periyaram medical college for post-mortem.

The father of the deceased boy is running a canteen in the very madrasa center where this incident has taken place. Milaj is survived by his mother Haleema and sisters Misriya and Mufeeda.
