Mangaluru: ICYM Ferar Unit celebrates Vanamahotsava

Mangaluru, Aug 4: ICYM Ferar unit recently celebrated Vanamahotsava at St Francis Xavier Church, Ferar.

Fr Antony Lewis, parish priest, Raphel D'Souza, vice president and Alwyn Saldanha, secretary, Parish Pastoral Council, Sr Ida, head of Shubhada Convent were present as dignitaries for the programme.

Elton Jason D'Souza, president, ICYM Ferar unit welcomed the gathering.



Vanamahotsava was celebrated by planting a sapling in the church premises. During this event many saplings were distributed to the parishioners.

Nishith Lobo compered the programme.
