Mangaluru: Literary ensemble in eight languages 'Explore' released

Mangaluru, Aug 2: Explore, a literary ensemble in eight languages materialised in the annual college magazine of Expert PU College, Kodaialbail and Valachil campuses was released by Kumara, KAS, the additional deputy commissioner and additional district magistrate of Dakshina Kannada district.

In his address, after the release of the magazine Kumara said that it is a rare achievement that a PU college can achieve towards preserving our good old native languages including Sanskrit, Konkani and Tulu. He expressed his delight to see the quality of the work and appreciated the ensemble of articles in eight languages such as Kannada, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, French, Malayalam, Konkani and Tulu in it. He pointed out that it is the apt medium of self-expression and also a symbol of
pride and a miniature representation of the college. He said that it promotes creativity and nurtures the latent skills of young minds. He suggested the students to take right path in their life and advised the teachers to motivate the students for better future.



Dr N K Vijayana Karippal, principal, Expert PU College, Valachil presided over the function, Raghavendra Shenoy, vice-principal, Expert PU College, Valachil, Zita D’Souza, head of the department of English Kodialbail campus, Bharath Poojary, Anitha P Shetty, lecturers in English, Suresh Edanadu, lecturer in Kannada and the students of Expert PU College, Kodialbail and Valachil were present on the occasion.
