Carzonrent teams up with SAP Concur for smooth business travel

Bengaluru, Jul 18 (IANS): Online car rental firm Carzonrent on Wednesday announced the integration of its app with SAP Concur -- a leading provider of expense, travel and invoice management solutions.

Now available in the SAP Concur App Center, Carzonrent will provide SAP Concur clients access to a largest fleet of cars, the company said in a statement.

"We selected SAP Concur because Carzonrent has always believed in improving the operational activities by marrying upgradation in technology with a customer-friendly approach," said Rajiv K Vij, Managing Director and CEO at Carzonrent.

Launched in 2013, the SAP Concur App Center makes it easy for travellers to find and connect to apps that integrate with SAP Concur and "provide additional value to clients by providing access to our large fleet of chauffeur-driven cars," Vij added.

With this, "We will be able to ensure more improved visibility into ground transportation spend and provide automated provisioning of business travel for Indian enterprises," added Neeraj Dotel, MD India & SAARC, SAP Concur said.

Software major SAP earlier this year announced a deeper integration with Concur -- the SAP company and the world's leading provider of travel, expense and invoice management solutions.

SAP acquired Concur in 2014 for $8.3 billion which offers a fully connected travel, expense and invoice platform ecosystem that integrates its products, suppliers and partners.

The open platform connects spend data to deliver insights that help customers and partners run their businesses more efficiently.
